Erasmus+
Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Its budget of €14.7 billion will provide opportunities for over 4 million Europeans to study, train, gain experience, and volunteer abroad.
From January the 1st 2014 onward the European Exchange programmes, namely Erasmus, Leonard, Grundtvig and Comenius programmes, will be combined into the Erasmus+ program. The aim of the consolidation is to simplify and optimise the current programme while maintaining its objectives and goals. By simplifying the funding process, Erasmus+ makes it easier for organisations to successfully bid for work, make the programmes more accessible and efficient.
The Erasmus+ program is intend to support education, training, youth activities, and sports in all sectors across the Lifelong Learning Scheme.
The EU and participating countries have set aside fund to support various actions of the Erasmus+ programmes. A large proportion of these actions include funding for higher education, further education, adult education, schools and youth activities. The programmes are not only for learners but for teacher and teaching staff. Part of the Erasmus+ scheme is for organisations across Europe to spread good practises for teaching and education in general.

It is our intention to continue the level of commitment to our European partners and to assist other organisation in doing the same.

What we can offer?
In our previous programmes we have delivered various training programmes to support learners of various levels. Some of our programmes include a vocational training course that focuses on personal skills to assist our learners in performing in a professional manner. Other training programmes that we delivered included language training, eco programmes and work placements invarious sectors.
We offer accommodation and housing with local families or in private accommodation depending on the learners. In addition to all of this we offer cultural visits to some of the many sites around Cardiff. Or most recent programme to be delivered is an environmental and sustainability course. This course focused around issues relating to sustainability and taught learners how to develop low environmental impact buildings and structures. This exchange took learners on a tour of Cardiff to visit some of the many sustainable energy sites and locations of interest, including the low environmental impact Welsh Assembly building. In addition to all of these services we also host and send students to some of our European partners to do similar exchanges.
