CCW-Training Academy – November 2022 News
RAINBO Project (Raising digital literacy for professionals working with LGBTQI+ community)
I am delighted to share this piece of local news which attracted European coverage.
CCW-Training Academy a Vocational Education Training company currently working on an Erasmus Plus EU funded project called the RAINBO project. The project is about raising awareness of digital literacy for professionals working with LGBTQI+ individuals. Our partners are from the Netherlands, Greece, Portugal, Romania and Luxembourg tasked to create an online platform with training materials which can be accessed for free. In the new year 2023, we are looking to organise some events for professionals working with LGBTQI+ individuals, as well as to LGBTQI+ individuals themselves. These events will help us to shape the online toolkit and platform so we are looking for individuals who will be happy to provide feedback during the events.
We are expecting to promote 3 events next year (2023). The first event will be a pilot, where we will examine the first draft of the online toolkit. We are expecting this to be in February 2023. The second event will be in April 2023, (i.e. to evaluate the final amendments).
We will showcase to final product. The final event will be held in May 2023 where we will have all of the partnership participating in a conference in Cardiff to launch the platform.
Thank you all who have supported this project to-date.
