Professional Mental Health Training for Staff and Clients
Self esteem is the overall opinion that we have of ourselves, how we judge or evaluate ourselves and the value that we attach to ourselves as people. Low self esteem can impact upon an individual’s daily routine by affecting work, personal relationships, self care and leisure activities.
The Building Self Esteem Course aims to enable participants to understand self esteem, recognise it and empower individuals to tackle it.
Duration: 6 weeks – 6 sessions of 2 hours per week
Maximum class size: 12 delegates per group
Main aims of The Course: Look at what self esteem is, to understand its power and affect on person`s life, help to identify negative thoughts, help to raise your self esteem, help you to see your positive qualities, understand what assertiveness is, overcome negative criticisms, become more confident.
Main objectives of The Course: Be able to understand and to use the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach to combat negative thoughts and predictions, be able to recognise how low self esteem is impacting upon their lives, be able to accept and appreciate positive compliments.
In the end of the Course each participant will be awarded by Attendance Certificate.

- Identifying, accepting and appreciating positive qualities
- Setting aside time for yourself
- Assertive behaviour and self esteem

- Becoming more confident
- Planning for the future
- Review and evaluation
