CCW-Training Academy delivering DWP-Support Program in Digital Employability Skills in the Monmouth, Chepstow, Abergavenny, Caldicot and Newport areas.
CCW-Training Academy is delighted to be appointed as the delivery organisation in the above DWP support program working in partnership with 3SC and Job Centre plus.
This ‘digital up skilling’ service will offer our clients to improve and build upon their digital capability. The Programme will ensure that customers are able to meet the requirements of the labour market and are prepared for the introduction of Universal Credit Full Service in November 2017.
The service will provide intensive support, build momentum and motivate individual customers, by enhancing their employability prospects.
The support program provision consist of an intensive course of activities, 4 days per week and over 4 weeks per month. The support should last with an additional 13 weeks support service on completion of the training. The first 2 weeks will involve helping to creating, check and improve CV and registering on online portals. Other activities include a number of digital employability workshops to help the group to understand employers’ expectations and successful approaches to finding work. The last 2 weeks will involve a provision of a job club and will focus on job search, making applications and interview practice.
